Re: Wind direction

Hi Tim, I have almost similar issue regarding the wind direction. I used forced weather data for my simulation, I have gotten two different wind directions. Since am forcing the data, and not specifying the wind direction under "simple forcing" shouldn't it be the same or did I miss or mes...

Re: Biomet Responding

Hi Tim,

I am not able to calculate the UTCI on Biomet V2.0 as seen in the image below. The calculation button is not functional.

Re: Error Importing Future Weather File

Thanks for the reply Tim,

I have updated the software to the latest version. However, I keep receiving the following error as seen in the image below and the simulation stops. Am I still doing something wrong?

Error Importing Future Weather File

Dear ENVI-met team,

I keep getting an error while trying to import a future weather file for the years 2020,2050....etc. Please see the picture below, am not sure what the problem is, let me know if there's a way to fix it.

Re: Air Temperature in Leonardo

Hi, Yes, that is very true. Nevertheless, I would then try to decrease the model area size and still run the model with the start at sunrise. All materials, objects etc. heat up during the day and definitely affect your simulation results. We often run the model for more than 48 hours since the mod...

Re: Air Temperature in Leonardo

Hi, The values of the EPW file are transformed in the shape of the FOX-file and used as input for the ENVI-met simulation. These meteorological boundary conditions are set for the inflow border. Within the model area you find changes of all meteorological parameters due to the model area characteri...

Re: Air Temperature in Leonardo

Hi, 1) That can have multiple reasons depending on the local model area and the meteorological boundary conditions. If it gets too hot, plants close their stomata and leafs stop evaporating which heats up the leafs, so they can also heat up the environment under specific circumstances. They can als...

Re: Spray water

Dear Tim and Envi-met team, Please see the results below for with WaterSprays and without the Sprays, and have seen significant changes in the air temperature. I used the default inputs for the Sources and Pollutant in the ENVIGuide. Do you think that the change in result is realistic? I am not sure...

Air Temperature in Leonardo

Hi, I am fairly new to Envi-Met, so please bare with me, I have gone through the forum to look for already answered questions, but I still have a few questions. 1) I ran simulation with Trees (Palm Trees) and without Trees as seen in the images below. In the image with trees, there's an area (circle...
