Sun hours

Postby CECDesign » Thu Feb 09, 2017 11:34 am

Thanks for the nice function of Suh Hours in the PRO version - really useful!

I cannot find any documentation or forum topics on this yet, but most of it is quite obvious if you are used to Leonardo. One question, though:

How is 'Sun hours at biomet level' defined? The results differ slightly from terrain level, but I cannot see any logical link to the evaluation level used in the Biomet app! If I want to look at sun hours on a roof garden at z=11 m and shaded by surrounding buildings, how can I set this up?

Hi,

yes, there are a lot of things need documentation.
The biomet level is the grid point that is closest to the z=2 m level (has nothing to do with the Biomet functions)

Sorry for having to bother you with questions in absence of documentation.
And thanks for responding so promptly! :D

Just as an add-on:

If you place receptors in the model, you will also get a solargram for the point showing insolation for the whole year...
