Hello, I would like to ask: in the model layout in the figure, how to determine the distance from the model to the boundary? What is the basis?I know I have the "Model Inspector" tool in the Space module. What is the basis for this tool? Can I not depend on it?If so, by what should I set the boundary distance?
Best wish!
model layout
Re: model layout
Dear LyMier,
there is no strict value for it. For stability it is advised to have around half the distance of the nearest building height as open space.

Re: model layout
Thank you very much for that answer. Are all models capable of making model boundaries according to this rule? The boundaries of the model checker are too large and take a lot of time to calculate, which bothers me.

Re: model layout
Hi,
As Helge said it is no strict rule. You could also try to run the model with only 3 free cells to the model boundaries and see if that works without stability issues.
Best regards,
Tim
