Hello,
Can I draw 3D plants on the roof in a 2D view in spaces?

Hi,

Yes, works the same way as if it would not be on a roof.

Best regards,
Tim

Thank you!
But I drew roof 3d plants in the 2d view, and only a part of them can be seen in the 3D view, why can’t I see the other 3d plants?

Hi,

It is probably caused by your vertical resolution. Choose a higher Z resolution to see those trees. Near the ground they are visible because of splitting.

I can see these trees in the 2D view, does it mean they already exist in the model? If I cannot see them in 3d view, can they still be simulated?

Hi,

You placed the root point in 2D. In 3D, you are able to see how the tree is gridded in the resolution of your model and how it will be simulated. If the resolution is very coarse and the tree is only gridded in 1 grid cell, this is how the tree is simulated.

Best regards,
Tim
